Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner

Education & Training

Julie received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Oregon Health and Science University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2002. In 2011, she completed her master’s degree in nursing from Washington State University. Julie worked at the emergency department at Good Shepherd Medical Center for more than 10 years, both as a registered nurse and as a nurse practitioner. She has been at our Hermiston office since 2013.  In 2019 she became a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DNCP).  She is currently one of only 14 nurse practitioners in the state of Oregon to hold this certification. 

Julie grew up in northeast Oregon and raised her three children in Hermiston. She enjoys cooking and baking, being outdoors with her dogs and travelling with her husband.
