Here at The Center for Excellence in Dermatology, we are taking the Coronavirus seriously. The safety of our patients and staff is always our top priority, therefore we have taken the following measures at the office:
Entry to the building has been limited to only the front door, which is constantly monitored.
Patients and employees have their temperatures taken and recorded at the front door. If an elevated temperature is detected, the patient or employee is denied entry into the building.
Everyone entering the building receives hand sanitizer upon entry.
No one with upper respiratory tract symptoms is permitted entry into the building.
Chairs in the waiting areas are spaced widely apart as per social distancing guidelines. Patients are also encouraged to wait in their car after checking in and are called on the phone when their exam room is ready.
The number of persons accompanying a patient is being limited in order to reduce total office traffic.
All employees must wear a medical mask, safety goggles and gloves. Gloves are changed after every patient.
Patients must also wear masks during their visit and can take them home with them.
Clinic countertops, door handles, and handrails are cleaned three times per day with alcohol or bleach.
Exam tables and chairs are cleaned with alcohol after every visit.
*The Center for Excellence in Dermatology follows CDC guidelines to maintain the safety of patients and staff, which are subject to frequent change.
